2017 Ford Escape: Refreshed and Advanced

When we matched up the new 2017 Ford Escape against the 2017 Honda CR-V and found out that both of these vehicles are great and are excellent options in the compact SUV segment. However, we believe that the Escape is slightly superior to the CR-V. One of the ways that the new 2017 Ford Escape is able to outshine the 2017 Honda CR-V is with its exterior styling. As we stated earlier, the Escape recently received a mid-generational refresh where it received some exterior styling updates. We feel that the new sheetmetal on the 2017 Ford Escape is subtle yet stylish. This compact crossover is sure to turn heads in traffic and stand out from the crowd. On the other hand, the Honda CR-V is in need of a refresh. It isn’t a bad looking vehicle but it does look rather plain in comparison to the stylish new Escape.

Another area where the new 2017 Ford Escape is miles ahead of the 2017 Honda CR-V is with its standard and available technology. The 2017 Ford Escape is offered with state-of-the-art technology, including: Foot-activated liftgate, new EcoBoost engine options, SYNC 3 infotainment, SYNC Connect, lane-keeping system, SiriusXM satellite radio and much more.
